According to the introduction, April was originally the end of the traditional peak season for excavator sales, and various brands were gearing up to catch the last bus of the peak sales. However, due to insufficient funding, a large number of new engineering projects did not start as expected, resulting in a weak demand for customer purchases. The decrease in downstream demand led to poor performance in the excavator market in April.
In this situation, some construction machinery agents have started to bearish the May market. According to the survey, the confidence of agents has significantly decreased compared to a month ago.
However, market analysts believe that there is no need to be overly pessimistic about the prospects for industry recovery. Firstly, the continued easing of currency is expected to ensure the "blood transfusion" of banks for infrastructure projects. Secondly, there is still a possibility of exceeding expectations in infrastructure investment within the year, and new construction may resume.
In fact, as the weather improves nationwide, the government's attitude towards ensuring infrastructure is more clear. Starting from the end of April, large-scale infrastructure projects represented by railways have resumed work on a large scale, with an overall resumption rate of over 80% -90%.
Therefore, the above people believe that the construction machinery industry is expected to gradually recover from the late second quarter.
