Key points for maintenance of flat press die-cutting machine

The fully automatic flat press die-cutting machine has been widely used in the packaging industry, but there is limited information on its maintenance and upkeep. Now, based on my practical experience in operating it, I would like to share my own experience.
1. Dust prevention and cleaning
During the operation of the die-cutting machine, a large amount of waste paper edges and burrs are generated. If not paid attention to them, they may accidentally enter the chain transmission part, the moving platform of the die-cutting part, and some rotating and moving parts, and block the photoelectric detection head, causing malfunctions. Therefore, the cleaning work of the flat press die-cutting machine body must be put first.
2. Oil and refueling
The die-cutting machine must have good lubrication and cooling during high-speed operation (6000 sheets per hour). Be sure to choose high-quality engine oil (such as Shell Omara 100) to protect the main transmission part of the die-cutting machine. In addition, there is an intermittent mechanism box on the transmission side of the machine (the intermittent mechanism of the three element protruding wheel), where the oil used is more viscous (such as shell Omara 220). After the new machine starts operating, all the main transmission parts and intermediate mechanism boxes need to be replaced after 3 months, and they should be replaced every year thereafter. The use of oil for other parts is the same as for general flat press die-cutting machines, which will be discussed shortly.
3. See troubleshooting
1) Mechanical failure: The fully automatic flat pressing die cutting machine often has the problem of tilting the moving platform, which is often caused by foreign objects falling into the die cutting area. Generally, first report the position of the wedge block under the moving shaft rod, at the same time roll the moving platform to the upper Accumulation point, monitor its relative position with the upper static platform, and ensure that the four corners of the platform are equidistant from the upper static platform (where the die cutter plate is clamped), so that the problem can be solved.
2) Electrical fault: because the central control of the full-automatic die-cutting machine is controlled by PLC, the main detection points, electrical switches and output actions are all commanded by PLC, and its internal program is Ladder logic diagram, so when there is a problem in the electrical aspect, the maintenance staff should first read the Ladder logic diagram, and then find the cause of the fault.
